"Smultron" (ixyps)

I was on vacation in France and currently in some town, which seemed as touristic as sleepy and had some free time because, well, vacation.
So I grabbed my phone cam (which is bunk, as I figured out) and walked open-eyed through the streets, hoping to get some french beauty before the lens.
First, I came across a C4 Cactus, the first time for me to see one in the wild, and I really like its presence, and how it offers a higher seating position and a comfortabler entry as the Merc B-Class or the VW Golf Sportsvan without being too conservative and outstanding looks without being a wannabe 4x4.
Then, I saw this sign and decided to look closer.
This Renault Traffic 4x4 wasn't the freshest, but as it turned out it was for sale: 1500 Euros, anyone? The significant rustholes seemed to have weakened the poor Truck. Nice paint scheme, nevertheless.
As I continued walking over the place on grass which had found its way through the cobbles, I spotted something in a garage on the opposite site...
It happened to be a 2CV. Cliche completed, I'd say. Maybe the owner would like to sell? Would be a great project, as It seemed to be complete (though I didn't get to see more than you do now) and it stood dry all the time.
This being my first post here, I need to introduce me to all of Oppo: I'm Smultron (love that word, swedish for forest strawberries) and I'm looking forward to share notable cars I see on the streets, at events or on sale sites with you. And various other stuff. When it comes to cars, I don't have real preferences, but I always liked Lancias for their oddball image and often fascinating tecnical and visual approaches. And being hit by a Hyundai seems like a very sad death to me.

Sadly, I saw none. But I remember a classisly modified 306 convertible on black momo rims. Maybe I find that pic again, lost it somehow...

That Citroen has so much asshat protection all around it, just look at the shopping cart/door ding guards. I wouldn't mind driving one of those if Citroen ever made their appearance in the United States.

Oddly, it only took me about 30 minutes the last time I visited Italy to see my first 2CV. I never saw another one the entire trip.
It was parked in student parking at a university, which I guess makes some kind of ironic hipster sense.
Also, lots of PT Cruisers and (Lancia) Caravans.

Didn't see any more, either. But a lot of Citroen AXes and renault 5, even some 4s. And those tiny citroen C delivery vans from the, I guess, 80s.
Just the 1st Time I visited France, a Trio of Facel Vegas was what I came across on the highway. Luck

I never asked this. Why does 505 love 505s?

You realize that probably makes you the only person in the world that both drinks Yuengling and drives a Peugeot?
